International Student Scholarship (ISS)

The International Student Scholarship (ISS) is administered through the Office of International Student and Scholar Services. Christina Luther, International Student Advisor, coordinates the program. ISS provides about 30 qualified PSU students with a tuition waiver of $1000 for a maximum of six terms. Recipients are chosen on the basis of financial need and academic scholarship and must submit an application, a statement of purpose, and letters of support to ISSS. The applications are evaluated by a university committee. Deadlines are as follows:

Fall: July 15
Winter: October 15
Spring: February 15

Note: If the 15th falls on a holiday or weekend, the deadline will be the next business day.

The scholarship is available to both graduate and undergraduate students who maintain a 3.0 GPA. (View the Guidelines and the Application for this scholarship.)
