International Scholars and Professors (J-1)

International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS) provides information and assistance to PSU departments and international visiting scholars and professors regarding the J-1 Exchange Visitor visa status. (Information on international professors or scholars needing H-1B, TN, or permanent residence assistance is available in the Office of International Faculty Services

In addition to helping PSU departments meet the legal requirements for inviting international scholars and researchers to campus, ISSS advises international scholars and researchers and their dependents about regulations and procedures for maintaining legal status, travel, employment authorization, and other issues.
